My heart has been very tender to the Lord since I was a little child. Through many trials with my Dad’s health during my Middle and High School years I learned to rely on the Lord and His guidance. I started attending Calvary Corvallis when I was in High School and was privileged to be discipled by amazing people over the years. In turn I too began to make disciples of those who were younger than me.
I graduated from OSU with a degree in Public Health. After working in the medical field for a few years the Lord led me to attend Cornerstone School of Ministry. There was a natural progression for me to cook and disciple at the House of Charis as a job after I had finished Cornerstone. My passion was to disciple these young women and it was easy to do that in a large welcoming kitchen.
After cooking for three years the job grew and I came on staff with Real Life. Last year in addition to these great roles I took on the responsibility of running the House of Charis as the Director. Praise the Lord I have a phenomenal team of young ladies who help me with all of this.
I value the young women and men I work with. I see God raising up a generation who is seeking to know His word and hear His voice. They are passionate about seeing His kingdom being proclaimed on the OSU campus. I love that in my position I get to partner with what God is doing through them as well as support and equip them to do His work and grow in relationship with Him.
