Short-term Outreaches
Ask anyone who has been a part of a short term outreach and they’ll tell you how much they’ve been changed by seeing God change others. You’re invited to hear the stories and see the photos from recent Calvary Corvallis outreaches below:
Africa 2008: August of 2008 Calvary Corvallis sent their first short term teams to the continent of Africa. Chad Weaver led a team of 12 disciples to serve alongside missionary Josh Baley in Abuja, Nigeria. College Pastor, Ian Nelson, took a small band of encouragers with him to Jinja, Uganda. Peru 2007: An outreach team of 28 from Calvary Corvallis and the Cornerstone School of Ministry will be in Peru Feb. 16-28 working with Amanda Eggert and other Peru missionaries in Lima, Cajamarca, and Iquitos. See more here »
Brazil 2006: An Outreach Team from Calvary Chapel Corvallis will be in Florianopolis, Brazil August 13-31 working with Claudio and Jessica Caze. See more here »
Brazil 2006: An Outreach Team from Calvary Chapel Corvallis will be in Brazil March 24-April 6. The team will hold evangelistic events in schools, slums and on the streets. See more here »
Brazil 2004: This team headed off to Sao Vicente, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro as well as Recife. What were these fifteen missionaries doing while they are abroad. You can find out here »
Brazil 2003: After spending nearly six months together as classmates the School of Ministry left for Curitiba, Brazil to assist in planting a church. What took place was nothing short of miraculous.
Hungary 2003: A small team of eleven left from Calvary Chapel Corvallis on June 14th. Their travels would take them to the Calvary Chapel Bible College, to a retreat for refugees as well as Slovakia. Read more »
