Day trip to Slovakia

Gary took several people from our team over to Slovakia today to see the town he feels God is calling his family to. We met the pastor of a small fellowship there who is helping the Barrows find a home to rent.

At right: The Danube river divides Hungary (foreground) from Slovakia. The town we visited is just across the river (pop. 15,000).

At right: After lunch we spent time praying and worshipping the Lord in the downtown park.

Please keep the Barrow family in your prayers. Ask God for great things to be provided! Visas need to be granted, a house needs to be found, and homeschooling materials are needed for the kids.

Later that evening, back at CC Debrecen, Gary taught from God's word during a special church service to welcome the team.

Team preparation!

Before leaving for Hungary our group participated in a variety of team-building exercises at the YWAM base in Salem, Oregon. One of the purposes of these exercises was to learn about the different strengths of each individual team member. The Lord really blessed this time of getting to know each another better.
